Joanne,

Wire is so amazing. Have you seen the website www.Brogan-Arts.com. The wire names are our best seller and very rewarding to make. Do you have a website?

Diane,
Great article. I found you through Chris. We're connected on LinkedIn.

I'm a jewelry hobbyist and started working with wire about a year ago. I haven't done any thing elaborate yet, mostly wrapped loops for beading. I'm using 24 gauge copper wire plated with either gold or silver. I do waste a lot right now, I'll consider working with silver wire after I get a little more accomplished.

Very useful information. I tried using brass practice wire after I had used copper. I surmized that brass was harder than copper, but very glad you verified my findings. I am new to wire wrapping. Thank you for your very helpful information

Thanks Paul. For a long time people have been asking me to show them how to do wire wrapping. It takes longer than 10 minutes. I decided to start a blog and share everything I know.

It looks like you are just starting your blog Diane. Very interesting pieces of art you are creating. Not much into jewelery myself but always interested in people working their craft and following their passion. I wish you much success with this venture.
